Calico Tech Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a technology services provider specialising in EU-sovereign AI, blockchain, and web development solutions. We can be contacted at [email protected].

We collect data in two ways:

• Contact form submissions — your name, email address, selected service, and the message you send us. This data is collected only when you choose to contact us.
• Analytics data — anonymised usage data (pages visited, time on site, approximate country) collected via Google Analytics 4, only if you have given explicit consent via our cookie banner.

• Contact form data — collected on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use it solely to respond to your enquiry.
• Analytics data — collected on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or declining cookies on your next visit.

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
• To understand how visitors use our website and improve our content (analytics only, with consent).
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party processors:

• Resend (contact form email delivery) — EU data centre available; data is processed to deliver your message to us.
• Google Analytics 4 (analytics, consent-only) — operated by Google LLC, headquartered in the United States. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which provides an adequacy mechanism under GDPR. Analytics data is only sent to Google after you have given your explicit consent. You can opt out at any time via the cookie banner or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Netlify (website hosting) — EU region hosting available. See Netlify's GDPR statement.

We use one first-party cookie / local storage key (ctlabs_consent) to remember your cookie preference. We do not use any tracking, advertising, or profiling cookies.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) only after you accept analytics cookies.

• Contact form data — retained in email for up to 2 years, or until you request deletion.
• Analytics data — retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (the minimum GA4 setting).

As a data subject in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction — ask us to restrict processing of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the EU, you can find your national authority via the European Data Protection Board.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
